WHO WAS AT THE QUEEN'S FUNERAL AND WHO WAS NOT?



  Today 19th september is the day the queen will be put to rest. Program begins at 11am from the Westminster Hall where she had been lying in state since wednesday,  to the St. George's Cathedral  at Windsor as the last place of procession, were she will be buried

  People around the world are present for her funeral, state dignitaries, Monarchs are all present to pay their last respect to the queen. About 100 presidents and heads of government were thought to have been in the abbey

Other head of governments who were there included the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Israeli President Isaac Herzog and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinta Ardern.

US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill were sat on the end of a row behind the Polish president Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda


The French president, Emmanuel Macron was with his wife Brigitte. Mr.Macron who has had some friendly relations with the queen, he said " a friend of France, a kind-hearted queen who has left a lasting impression on her country and her century".



   Despite the fact that world leaders were invited, others were not invited due to some reasons which will be seen below

 


The Russian President Vladimir Putin is among those not invite since Russia's invation of Ukraine, and a spokesperson for Russia President Vladimir Putin said he was not considering attending the funeral

Representatives from Syria, Venezuela  and Afghanistan  were not invited. This is because the UK doesnt have full diplomatic relations with these countries. No one from Russia, Belarus and Myanmar has been invited neither

North Korea and Nicaragua have been invited to send only ambassadors, not head of states
